Crushing - finally, you are hanging out with that person (is this a date?) and they are notoriously against having their photo taken but relent so long as they don’t have to look at it, so you snap and scrawl and slip the Polaroid directly into your pocket, beaming. On the bus home later half dizzy you pull it out and it’s all fucked up, light leaks and a big damaged blotch and this isn’t what you planned to remember. Crushing.
